Complementary safety regulations
FLAP DISCS, CUTTING DISC, GRINDING DISC
- Do not use discs when damaged or not delivered according to standard appearance
- See to it that the disc is concentric and secure mounted on the machine
- Never use discs with bore sizes that do not fit
- Never exceed the maximum rotational speed (RPM) per minute. The RPM of the grinding machine must be the same as, or lower than the indicated max. RPM of the disc
- The maximum rotational speed of the disc is limited to 80 m/sec. The maximum RPM for the specific size is printed on the disc label
GRINDING
- Do not start grinding before the machine runs at max. RPM
- Do not force the flapdisc with the side into the grinding zone or into sharp contours or welds, to avoid catching or jamming of the flaps
- Avoid plunge grinding, cutting or wet grinding with flapdisc
- Do not put machine down when the flapdisc is still rotating
