    This backing pads are tough and a little flexible allowing you to grind curved shapes with more pressure. They last a long time (we replace them every few months) but will eventually break as the plastic is repeatedly heated while working.

    These backing pads were half the price that we were paying at Fastonal. We use them to clean the slag off our decorative metal signs. They will break if you push too hard, but so does anything that isn't handled or used correctly. Treat them right and they will go a long ways. They work great and do the job you need.

  5. "See through" abrasive disks for sculpture

    These are expensive, but worth it. They allow us to view our sculpture (musical drums, carved as alligators and turtles, for playgrounds) as we remove and shape material. Coupled with a Speed-Loc 24 grit disc, they are FAST! I reserved the 5 tar rating because we tend to break them when we push too hard. I wish they were a little more flexible.
