Specially Designed Flap Disc for Grinding Aluminum. These flap discs contain a calcium stearate coating that liquefies under heat to keep the disc cooler and to prevent loading on soft materials such as aluminum, bronze and copper.

  • Twice as long service life as traditional flap discs on aluminum and non-ferrous materials
  • Contains a special liquefying agent prevents loading and glazing on aluminum
  • Less expensive and faster grinding than grinding wheels specifically designed for aluminum

      Had to grind a bunch of MIG welds down on aluminum. worked super fast and left a good finish

      The wheel works excellent on grinding aluminum welds, last long and very economical. Have used it on steel successfully also. Do apply a small amount of cutting wax to grind are to speed process

      Got these to sharping mower blades. Did excellent job and made quick work of it. Kept blade from getting hot too. Great price compared to competition. I may step up to ceramic next round but very pleased with results.
