    These discs are amazing at removing: mill scale, paint, surface rust; all without removing the underlying metal. It is worth noting that you should turn your grinder down to ~4,000 rpm, as the media tends to start melting/smearing at higher speeds.

    I purchased these just to try them out and have been super impressed with the performance and longevity. They remove pain and rust without removing metal. Use them to strip part for s tractor restoration and there wasn't any scratches in the metal after painting!
