Specially Designed Flap Disc for Grinding Aluminum. These flap discs contain a calcium stearate coating that liquefies under heat to keep the disc cooler and to prevent loading on soft materials such as aluminum, bronze and copper.

  • Twice as long service life as traditional flap discs on aluminum and non-ferrous materials
  • Contains a special liquefying agent prevents loading and glazing on aluminum
  • Less expensive and faster grinding than grinding wheels specifically designed for aluminum

    I have tried some other products that were to work well on aluminum that cost much more and they didn't compare to this product.

    I had my doubts about the use of these on aluminum but I was very pleasantly surprised. They don't load up and they last. They are going to be my discs for aluminum and I am going to try some others.

    I have been rebuilding an old 17' aluminum boat. I was going through flap discs very fast and not getting the full use of any disc. Then I found this Lehigh Valley Disc! It changed everything! They don't load up with aluminum and I get SO MUCH more life out of each disc! These will be my "go to" discs for aluminum from now on!
