Zirconia Alumina Flap Disc Grinding Wheels. These flap discs are manufactured using premium VSM Zirconia cloth. The VSM material is superior due to its uniform particle size, aggressive cut and premium blend of ingredients. The VSM Zirconia abrasive grain material is adhered with a special resin bond to a poly / cotton backing. The resin bond and poly / cotton back allows the flap discs to achieve maximum cutting capacity, strong edge strength and long lasting life by providing a low stretch, high strength material and for the incredibly high concentrations of zirconia alumina abrasive grains. These discs exceed other flap discs by packing 25 to 50% more abrasive on each snippet. In addition, all discs are manufactured on German-built computer controlled machines and subject to numerous performance and safety tests which ensure high quality and greater safety. By buying through Lehigh Valley Abrasives, you get factory direct pricing on all of our branded flap discs. You will not find a better performing flap disc on the market. We guarantee our flap discs will perform as well as other, more expensive products, because they are made to the same standards, on the same machines and with the same materials. So why do they charge so much?
The regular, retail price for a pack of 10 discs is $69.99.

I have tried dozens of methods and manufacturers in the search for a quick, easy, and cheap method to remove metal. These discs are absolutely the best I have come across and meet all three requirements. The 24 grit removes metal in a hurry - caution though, with a grit this heavy, it does leave grind marks. Shift to 120 and it'll smooth them out nicely. Yes, there are bunch of grits in between, but for my use, these are my two "go-to" grits. Longevity is on par with much more expensive flap discs at half the cost! These are the ONLY discs on my grinders now.
