Zirconia Alumina Flap Disc Grinding Wheels. These flap discs are manufactured using premium VSM Zirconia cloth. The VSM material is superior due to its uniform particle size, aggressive cut and premium blend of ingredients. The VSM Zirconia abrasive grain material is adhered with a special resin bond to a poly / cotton backing. The resin bond and poly / cotton back allows the flap discs to achieve maximum cutting capacity, strong edge strength and long lasting life by providing a low stretch, high strength material and for the incredibly high concentrations of zirconia alumina abrasive grains. These discs exceed other flap discs by packing 25 to 50% more abrasive on each snippet. In addition, all discs are manufactured on German-built computer controlled machines and subject to numerous performance and safety tests which ensure high quality and greater safety. By buying through Lehigh Valley Abrasives, you get factory direct pricing on all of our branded flap discs. You will not find a better performing flap disc on the market. We guarantee our flap discs will perform as well as other, more expensive products, because they are made to the same standards, on the same machines and with the same materials. So why do they charge so much?
The regular, retail price for a pack of 10 discs is $69.99.

I have bought flap disk from several sources but these are the very best I have ever had, I used one disk to complete a job that would normally take 3 or 4. I will buy again.

For some uses, 1/2 inch can make a difference and it can actually be hard to find the 4 inch disks vs the common 4.5. For that reason alone, I would continue buying these. But add on to it that these are great quality discs at about 1/3 of the price of anything you'll find in a big box store. Excellent quality and value.
