LRP 1503 VRA Boa Pipe Sander employs 11 A motor and features 12-40 fps variable-speed control. Sanding arm snakes up to 270° around pipe radius, minimizing positioning effort needed to achieve full 360° finish. No tools are needed for replacement of sanding belt, and spring resistance between 2 deflection rollers ensures sanding arm and belt are always uniformly tensioned. 
Quickly and easily remove weld seams and discoloration all the way up to
a number 8 mirron finish on tube and pipe.

Suhner UKC 3R Long Neck Angle Grinder for Difficult to Access Welds
 

New special grinder for working hard-to-reach fillet welds

The role of tools for stainless steel work is constantly gaining in

importance on the metal construction sectors.

The new "long neck" angle grinder is the new member to the

SUHNER range of special tools for abrasive stainless steel working.

The UKC 3-R was developed specifically for metal construction

and is extremely powerful thanks to its reduction gearing.

With its lightweight design of 1.8 kg and "long neck" of aluminium

the tool is a handy and pleasant workmate. This is supported in

addition by the extremely low angle head.  This makes the UKC 3-R ideal for work on

confined fillet welds - a problem zone that is frequently encountered e.g. on railings.

Unitized Wheels

Increasingly users are turning to Unitized Wheels for stainless steel and aluminum weld finishing.  The unitized wheels' open structure reduces heat build up and adjacent surface scratching while leaving a smooth consistent finish.  The 6" diameter wheels are particularly useful when finishing hard to reach corner welds.

6" Diameter Unitized wheels operate at lower rpm ranges (3000 to 4000) and require a variable speed or specialized grinder which allow for lower speeds and reduced profiles for hard to reach areas.
