Non woven Abrasives
Non woven abrasives are typically used to provide the final surface finish which is critical to the appearance and performance of the workpiece. They are made by impregnating abrasives gritto a pliable nylon web. This produces a cushioned three dimensional material that is long lasting and able to conform to the surface of the workpiece.
Non wovens are ideal for deburring, cleaning and imparting the final surface finish to the workpiece. They are typically classified as shown in the chart below;

Coarse (C) 50 - 80 grit Medium (M) 100 - 150 grit Fine (F) 180 - 220 grit Very Fine (VF) 240 - 360 grit Ultra Fine (UF) 600 grit
